Arcadia Farm is a training and boarding stable that provides the full care, schooling and training of the horse and lessons for their riders.  Arcadia specializes in the hunter, equitation, and jumper divisions. Arcadia Farm also offers lessons and horsemanship camps for young riders in a safe, fun environment.

Trainers and owners Molly Flaherty and Patricia Peckham have worked together at Arcadia Farm since 1987. Both are licensed USEF hunter and hunt seat equitation judges. Their combined experience of coaching, teaching, and riding brings more than 50 years of expertise in the hunter and jumper show horse industry.

They share a philosophy of prioritizing horsemanship and long-term relationships with their clients.  Their belief is that training for personal best, based on strong basics, will result in success at the horse show. At Arcadia, lessons and training are an ongoing process with both short and long term goals uniquely tailored to each horse and rider team.  Arcadia riders compete successfully at both local and national USEF horse shows throughout the year.

Our new assistant trainer, Gillian Wander, has been teaching and managing show barns for 26 years.  An experienced teacher, she has brought students from beginning riders through 3’3” equitation finals in the North East.  She is devoted to her students and horses and a welcome addition to Arcadia Farm.

The show schedule begins the year at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Florida for some and locally at the winter shows in NY for others. We continue in the spring and summer at the best shows in the Northeast including  Garden State, Old Salem, Devon, Lake Placid, Vermont Summer Festival and the Hampton Classic.  Our fall shows include Capital Challenge and Pennsylvania National Horse Show and The National Horse Show.  Our students meet their goals and compete successfully at finals events that include the US Pony Finals,  US National Junior Hunter Finals, the FEI North American Junior and Young Rider Championship, ASPCA Maclay Regional and  National Finals, Platinum Performance/USEF Show Jumping Talent Search Finals-East, Pessoa/US Hunter Seat Medal Finals, Connecticut Hunter and Jumper Medal Finals.  Our hunters participate successfully in the WCHJR program throughout the year culminating at the Capital Challenge Horse Show in October.  We  also compete at the many local shows available to us in our area throughout the year.
